NWSID + Crossville @ United Tile = Fantastic!!

United Tile hosted the Northwest Society of Interior Designers (NWSID) Portland chapter meeting April 8th with over 125 designers attending at the United Tile showroom.  NWSID is a professional association of interior designers, and each meeting involves networking with peers in the industry, association business, and a host presentation.

We used this opportunity to educate the group on new products from Crossville, and the green initiatives Crossville enforces throughout their business.  Joe Hartzell from Crossville was on hand and Doug Ingham, Crossville’s Director of Residential Sales, gave a wonderful presentation on recycled porcelain tile.  His talk included the process of making recycled porcelain and the general facts on LEED specified projects.

Crossville is a leader in porcelain production in the U.S., and has grown to a complete product offering with porcelain, stone, metals, and glass to assist with any design solution for your project.  To see their complete product offering or to learn more about their green initiatives, visit their website at www.crossvilleinc.com.

The event was catered with BBQ from Slabtown, located in Northwest Portland.  They served up wonderful trays of beef brisket, pulled portk, mac and cheese, and of course their infamous hot and mild BBQ sauce.  The casual, yet friendly atmosphere allowed everyone to get some great information from Crossville while having a fantastic time.
