A Simple Twist to a Kitchen Island

I recently came upon this beautiful kitchen photo on Houzz. What I loved the most was the wood plank that the designer ran up on the face of the island. This thoughtful touch added warmth to what otherwise could have been a cold room, and is great way to do something different to the island face instead of standard drywall. Additionally, it’s the same wood that was used on the floor, so you know it’s going to be durable (think of kids and guests feet kicking/scuffing up painted drywall, or a cabinet face). Check out our Classic French Oak or our new Argonne collections from Plank to achieve this look. (Bonus: We stock our Plank product!)

Crossville Moonstruck

MoonstruckHave you seen Moonstruck, one of our newest stocking products? We are in love with it, and so are our customers! Toeing the line between traditional and contemporary, Moonstruck shines on its own, and also pairs beautifully with a wide variety of accents. Available in 12″x24″ as well as 18″x36″, Moonstruck looks stunning on both horizontal and vertical surfaces. Our Renton showroom installed the Gemini color in 18″x36″ on a countertop, paired with another new addition to our stocked products, Oceanside’s Muse Hex in Cosmopolitan.

Moonstruck2This collection has both unpolished and honed finish options, as well as a bullnose. You can see that we simply polished the edge of our countertop installation and it looks great!
